Mechanical Engineering Manager jobs in Concord, NH

• Participate in the review and implementation of project funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources to each project phase.
• Confer with project foremen to coordinate schedules, deliveries and overall project communication on a regular basis.
• Coordinate and support activities of project staff to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
• Ensure foremen have adequate resources to maximize revenue and reduce costs on a job-by-job basis.
• Promote departmental communication and adequate information flow.
• Support safety compliance on each project, ensuring all employees realize and comply with company and jobsite standards.
• Able to communicate effectively one-on- one, in a group setting, in written form or by telephone with all levels of the organization.
• Must have a sincere interest and desire to learn more about the industry and actively participate in developing the most effective and efficient approach to managing a project.

Qualifications:

• Possesses knowledge and understanding of construction project management techniques.
• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent field preferred, and/ or equivalent experience.
• Experience in construction, with emphasis on Mechanical (HVACR).
• Able to be organized, detailed focused, set priorities, multitask, and execute tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure; can handle considerable stress.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Procore Construction, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license required and able to travel to VT, NY, NH, and Canada.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Some repetitive motion required (i.e. – use of keyboard).
• Must be able to navigate an active construction site and be able to wear the necessary personal protective equipment as required by the project.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds on an occasional basis.
• The typical work environment is a combination of office and construction site settings.
