Zachry is currently seeking a QC Mechanical Inspector for new construction work and our Golden Pass LNG project located in Sabine Pass, TX.
Position Summary:
QC Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for Inspection of craft work or work by others for adherence to the owner’s specifications and governing codes or manufacturer’s requirements for rotating equipment and components used in the construction industry to ensure the equipment and/or equipment components are in good repair and meet construction project requirements. Must read and interpret engineered drawings and manufacturer manuals. Knowledge of API 686 Recommended Practice for Machinery Installation and Installation guides. Document inspection activities on the correct forms, checklists, or other media approved by the project’s ITP or SOP.
