Mechanical Engineering Manager jobs in Santa Ana, CA

Duties:

• Perform Mechanical Repairs using hand and power tools.
• Document Maintenance and Repairs via e-mail at the end of the day.
• Pick up parts and/or components at different locations using company transportation
• Drop off parts and/or components at different locations using company transportation
• Provide training to New mechanical Maintenance Technicians and/ or assistants.
• Troubleshooting faulty machinery and diagnosing the root cause of the malfunction using diagnostic tools and problem solving abilities.
• Collaborating with other mechanical maintenance technicians to solve complex mechanical issues and repairs.
• Keeping an organized daily log of all projects worked and repairs.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED/HISET
• Computer skills to send emails, upload pictures, and general communications.
• Minimum 5 Years of hands on Marine Mechanical experience
• Knowledge and experience with hand and power tools and their proper use.
• Knowledge and experience with measuring tool and GD&T
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees and/or clients in the field.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all and each job or task is completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.
• Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working either in the shop or in the field.
• No motion sickness
• Must have valid US Passport
• Must have valid Driver's license
• Must know how to drive a forklift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
