Mechanical Engineering Supervisor oversees the designing of engines, tools, and other mechanical equipment and industrial processes. Also responsible for supervising the production, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment. Being a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may work with other engineering departments to aid in the development and usage of robotics to improve productivity. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. About your role:
This is a hands-on, full-time position with day-to-day duties that include performing design and sizing of equipment, producing datasheets and specifications, hydraulic calculations and analyses, 3D modeling support, construction drawing reviews, and any other mechanical components utilized in heavy industrial/manufacturing or oil & gas facilities or required by our clients.
