Mechanical Engineering Supervisor jobs in Anderson, IN

SYMS is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer and experience in welding, mill writing, and rigging for construction-related projects. This person will be responsible for overseeing mechanical installation projects onsite that are completed in accordance with the project timeline. As well as providing the resources and direction to ensure safety in performance, equipment operation, and organization of workload.

Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineering Supervisor:

• Serve as the onsite Mechanical Engineering Supervisor for mechanical installations.
• Attend all meetings with the client and project team.
• Assist the Senior Project Manager on projects and sites.
• Provide onsite Mechanical Engineering knowledge and ensure installation quality, timeliness, and safety.
• Serve as the onsite field staff and point-of-contact for Mechanical Engineering installation.

Qualifications for Mechanical Engineering Supervisor:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Implementation and Control required.
Certification or experience in welding, mill writing, and rigging is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented.
Must have Microsoft Office experience including Excel.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
