Mechanical Engineering Supervisor jobs in Delaware
Mechanical Engineering Supervisor oversees the designing of engines, tools, and other mechanical equipment and industrial processes. Also responsible for supervising the production, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment. Being a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may work with other engineering departments to aid in the development and usage of robotics to improve productivity. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Keystone is in search of a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of consulting engineering experience in designing HVAC, plumbing and fire systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial facilities to join our Seaford, DE team.
Seaford is located in lower Delaware. Tax free shopping, outlets, restaurants, nightlife, and sunny beach days can't get any closer!
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design various HVAC system types, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems. Additional responsibilities include construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects, field inspections, developing system narratives, completing load calculations, equipment selection, and other related design tasks.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required for this position, with an E.I.T. or an active Professional Engineering License preferred.
We would also look for experience in AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software.
Our Engineers travel locally to client sites and occasionally have overnight travel trips for projects.
