Mechanical Engineering Supervisor oversees the designing of engines, tools, and other mechanical equipment and industrial processes. Also responsible for supervising the production, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment. Being a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may work with other engineering departments to aid in the development and usage of robotics to improve productivity. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. - Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Fabricate and solder electronic components onto circuit boards using surface mount technology.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for various electronic devices.
- Operate machinery and tools such as calipers, hand tools, and soldering irons.
- Test and troubleshoot assembled electronic products to ensure functionality.
- Follow quality control procedures to ensure products meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Strong electrical knowledge and understanding of electronic components.
- Experience in fabricating and soldering electronic components using surface mount technology.
- Proficient in electrical wiring techniques.
- Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of logic controllers is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to assemble mechanical components is desired.
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring instruments accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly tasks.
