Farr Mechanical, LLC is growing and we need you!  We are a commercial service and repair company specializing in industrial plants and food production facilities. We have been serving Kansas City and the surrounding area since 1986.  We are currently looking for an experienced commercial plumbing technician to join our team.  

Job duties: 

Drain cleaning and repair.

Water supply side installation and repair.

Hot water systems installation and repair.

RO and water softening systems installation and repair.

What You’ll Bring To the Position: 

Excellent problem solving skills. 

Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures/specifications. 

Accredited HD Diploma/GED.

Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. 

Excellent customer service skills. 

Be organized, accountable, and self-motivated.

Physical Requirements: 

Lifting 50-75 lbs with or without assistance. 

Extensive walking.

Extensive driving. 

Kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing/pulling. 

Working on and around a ladder/lifting equipment. 

Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery, wet conditions. 

OT and On-Call Duty rotation.

Salary ranges for this position: 

Experienced technicians can expect $24-$37 hourly wage based on competency testing. 

Apprentice/assistants can expect $18-$24 hourly wage based on competency testing.
