The Mechanical Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Job Description: We're looking for someone to join our insulation team that is looking to work hard and learn the trade! We're seeking an experienced mechanical insulator.
- Measure and cut insulation for covering pipe & equipment using tape measure, knives, and scissors.
- Determine the amount and types of insulation needed, and methods of installation.
- Apply sealants or other protective coatings.
- Run construction equipment like scissor lifts and forklifts.
- Material handling - Moving material around the job site.
- Housekeeping - Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional work area on the job.
