Mechanical Engineering Technician assists mechanical engineers in the planning and testing of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery, such as engines, instruments, controls, robots, machines, etc. Helps prepare proposals and cost estimates. Estimates work load to establish completion dates. Being a Mechanical Engineering Technician requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Mechanical Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Mechanical Concepts LLC is based in Shreveport. However, our service area is North Louisiana, Southwest Arkansas AND East Texas. We are looking for a boiler technician who lives in East Texas and will work in EAST TEXAS and surrounding area.
Pay range: Negotiable, depending upon experience.
Duties include preventive maintenance, start up and commissioning and servicing of commercial boilers, pumps, and associated equipment and controls.
An Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical/Trade School with a Certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning is beneficial. This position requires strong technical aptitude and a solid work ethic.
