Installs, calibrates, tests, and repairs mechanical components and engineering solutions. Additionally, Mechanical Engineering Technician fabricates, modifies, and assembles new or existing mechanical components. Requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Mechanical Engineering Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.
