Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. We are looking for experience in digital media campaign implementation in ad platforms like Facebook, Google and DSPs. Familiarity with data sources (MRI, Nielsen, Kantar, ComScore) a plus. Experience with Freewheel a big plus.
2 years agency experience mandatory. No exceptions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of digital media channels and tactics, including hands-on experience with the necessary tools (e.g., DCM, Google Ads, Facebook Ad Manager, Analytics, etc.)
- Experience implementing and managing cross-channel digital media campaigns in those platforms
- Experience reporting on campaigns implemented in those platforms
