Media Buyer is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Buyer uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Buyer collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Buyer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.     Job Description

    The Digital Media Manager will work collaboratively with agency teams across a portfolio of internationally recognized kid and family accounts. You are a champion of the cross-screen buying process. Your work is held to the highest standards and you strive to maintain best-in-class agency status.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time, in-office role for a Digital Media Manager located in Summit, NJ, with an opportunity for hybrid work for a stellar candidate. You have 5 years of consumer media agency experience, with hands-on digital expertise across paid social (YouTube, Facebook, IG, TikTok). You will be responsible for day-to-day tasks, including planning, buying, campaign setup, campaign management, analysis, and reporting. You are smart, curious, passionate, and proud of your work. You have exceptional organizational, excel, and communication skills. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. You write plans, pitch decks, correspondence, etc.

    This Digital Media Specialist will work closely with the media team to develop and manage effective media plans, analyze campaign performance, optimize campaigns, and report.

    Digital Media Manager

    • Work alongside Group Director, Media Director, and a team of like-minded agency pros to bring campaigns to life, and to drive KPIs and campaign performance.
    • Understanding suite of in-house media tools to deliver analysis, and campaign performance reporting, through Datorama, including insights and optimization
    • Demonstrated knowledge and experience across channels (i.e. video, display, paid social (Meta, Google, TikTok), gaming, retail media (AMS, Criteo, Walmart Connect)
    • Keen eye for detail and understanding of budget restraints
    • Developing and delivering client-facing performance reports

    Campaign Execution & Management

    • Leverage research and campaign learnings to set up campaigns across a tactical mix of cross-screen media
    • Manage campaign assets
    • Oversee trafficking and tagging to ensure campaigns are set up properly
    • Ensure accuracy of production to ensure all materials are received to spec
    • Responsible for post-launch screenshot decks, links, and proof of placement
    • Work alongside the veteran digital team on mid-campaign reconciliation, billing, pacing, brand safety

    Analysis & Reporting

    • Responsible for digital analytics and insights
    • Monitor and report on media campaigns on an ongoing basis, providing optimization opportunities
    • Monitor ad verification and ad server data to provide critical thinking and analysis and draw conclusions
    • Responsible for providing data for dashboards
    • Effectively communicate optimization strategies and cross-platform opportunities

    You Are

    • Proficient in reporting tools ( Datorama, Excel)
    • Motivated with 5 years of hands-on digital agency experience
    • Collaborative, team worker with strong time management and organization skills
    • A problem solver with foresight and ability to develop creative media solutions
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to follow through
    • Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced agency environment

    Experience Necessary

    • Knowledge of digital channels/buying methods (video, display, gaming, programmatic, social; retail media, etc.)
    • Familiarity with marketing principles, and analytics is a must
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Experience in setting up campaigns across social platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google)
    • Competence within systems and tools related to the media planning process
    • Mastery of third-party ad server and ad verifications
    • Familiarity with biddable channels and partner direct
