**Job Description: Media Buyer and Omni Channel Coordinator for Local Retail Furniture Store
**Position Overview:**
As a Media Buyer you role is to Negotiate with media representatives to secure optimal placements and rates for advertising space/time for TV, radio, and other local media outlets. Utilize market research and historical data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize media spend.
Omni-Channel marketing coordinator:
You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to seamlessly integrate our retail operations across multiple channels, including online, mobile, brick-and-mortar stores, and other digital touchpoints. Your primary objective will be to enhance the overall customer experience, drive sales, and increase brand loyalty by creating cohesive and personalized interactions across all channels.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategy Development:** Lead the development of omni-channel strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs. Identify opportunities to optimize the customer journey and maximize sales conversion across all channels.
2. **Cross-Channel Integration:** Help create internal team to ensure seamless integration of online and offline channels, including inventory management, pricing consistency, and unified branding. Implement processes and technologies to enable real-time visibility and synchronization of customer data across channels.
3. **Customer Experience Enhancement:** Analyze customer behavior and preferences to develop personalized omni-channel experiences that drive engagement and loyalty. Implement strategies for omnichannel customer service, such as click-and-collect, buy online, pick up in-store (BOPIS), and seamless returns/exchanges.
4. **Digital Marketing Integration:** (Help hire a team to) integrate omni-channel marketing campaigns across various digital platforms, including email, social media, paid advertising, and content marketing. Leverage data-driven insights to deliver targeted and relevant messaging to customers at each touchpoint.
5. **Technology Implementation:** Evaluate and implement omni-channel technology solutions, including customer relationship management (CRM) systems, e-commerce platforms, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and marketing automation tools. Ensure proper integration and functionality to support omni-channel initiatives.
6. **Analytics and Measurement:** Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of omni-channel initiatives. Utilize analytics tools and customer data to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
7. **Team Training and Development:** Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams on omni-channel best practices and processes. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation to drive continuous improvement in omni-channel capabilities. Currently no team has been hired, but we plan to use Upwork or local talent.
**Qualifications:**
1. **Experience:** 5 years of experience in retail, e-commerce, or digital marketing, with a focus on omni-channel strategy and implementation. Proven track record of driving business results through omni-channel initiatives.
2. **Strategic Thinking:** Strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute omni-channel strategies that drive growth and customer satisfaction. Experience in retail operations and merchandising is a plus.
3. **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in omni-channel technologies and platforms, including CRM systems, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), POS systems, and marketing automation tools. Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is desirable.
4. **Customer Focus:** Deep understanding of customer behavior and preferences across different channels. Ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive loyalty.
5. **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. **Analytical Skills:** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and measure the impact of omni-channel initiatives.
