Gannett Publishing Services is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to identify and acquire independent contract carriers for the newspapers.
This person will be the point of contact for local sites and own the process from advertising the position on various job boards until the prospect signs a contract.
The position offers a flexible work schedule of 20- 29 hours a week.
This will include communication with the sites, designing and placing advertising and conducting interviews.
Expectations :
Work with sites to maintain accurate route profiles of open and targeted delivery routes that need contractor candidates.
Tasks :
Utilize the route profiles to explain what kind of route is available and utilize effective screening questions to vet prospective contractors and identify candidates to pass on to the sites.
Communications :
Provide timely and accurate information to management as required.
Responsible for communication regularly regarding status of open routes in region, routes filled and strategy to fill.
Education :
High School Diploma. Demonstrated ability to manage data and communicate effectively.
Experience Required :
One year recruitment experience preferred.
Technology :
PC Skills including Microsoft Office : E-mail, Excel, Word, Social Media proficiency.
