Media Coordinator is responsible for placing, confirming and monitoring media orders. May assist in research for the development of the media plan. Being a Media Coordinator is primarily an administrative role. May require a bachelor's/associate's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Media Coordinator has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Under the direction of the Outreach Manager, this position will have oversight of the company’s social media and other on-line applications. They will also be responsible for design and appropriate audience messaging. Approximately, 20% of this position’s time will be dedicated to assisting with community events and post event evaluation.
