Being a Media Director negotiates client projects and develops client relationships. Ensures client budget and target audience is met. Additionally, Media Director may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. The Performance Media Director is a team leader for the media department, overseeing all media disciplines inclusive of paid search, programmatic, display & video, paid social, social media, and other media channels. They will manage discipline supervisors as direct reports. This role will be expected to be a strategic lead across all core media client accounts. Primarily responsible for focusing on optimizing performance of client digital media programs and the development of best practices, processes, and strategies to steer and monitor overall media department success. Acts as a digital media SME for internal stakeholders/client partners as well as key point of contact for cross-functional departments. Client programs include data driven omnichannel digital media campaigns to successfully engage and influence consumers at each funnel stage. Focused on the growth and development of direct reports. Will have a hand in helping pitch new business and account growth for media specific opportunities.
