Media Director is responsible for leading a team of Media Planners and Buyers. Oversees research, development, and implementation of media plan. Being a Media Director negotiates client projects and develops client relationships. Ensures client budget and target audience is met. Additionally, Media Director may require a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. This means this individual is on call 24/7.With the Content Marketing Strategist, this individual coordinates writing for the college’s publications, press releases, public relations advertising copy, media relations, social media, fact sheets, Webpages, emails and other items as needed.Assists the Social Media and Digital Engagement Manager, this individual develops and implements the social media strategy and calendar for the college and works with other members of the department to ensure optimal utilization of social networking channels.Performs other duties related as assigned.
