The Center for STEM eXcellence at Morehead State University is accepting applications for Media Assistant. The anticipated start date is May 16, 2024.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities may involve performing analytical tasks and/or developing comprehensive media products. The media assistant may conduct a significant amount of office or field work, aid in the analysis of research and editing or writing and create and implement special projects and initiatives. This position will require a high level of contact with internal and external customers. A substantial level of teamwork is expected.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience with media production. Must be able to complete a significant amount of training/certification. Must have a high level of technology skills. Must have a high level of knowledge of the operations and policies of the unit or department. Must possess independent judgment, discretion and decision-making skills. Must have a proven track record of meeting deadlines and working under pressure. Must be able to handle stress as well as to react quickly in emergency situations.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Able to stand for long periods and lift 25 pounds.
