Media Planner is responsible for maximizing the impact of advertising campaigns. Coordinates the development and execution of media and advertising plans that support the client's overall marketing strategy, tactics, message, and objectives. Being a Media Planner uses analytics to design innovative strategies to ensure the client's marketing campaigns reach the target audience. Negotiates media buys, pricing, and media placement scheduling with vendors. Additionally, Media Planner collaborates with stakeholders and vendors to execute plans and control pacing, optimization, and timelines for campaigns. Conducts research on new media strategies, platforms, and channels to utilize for future campaigns or ongoing campaign evolvement. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager. The Media Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     UXRP Internship

    What our team does

    • Manages the customer buying journey generated from all paid media channels.
    • Analyzes website user behavior with onsite analytics to understand how users behave on our sites.
    • Hypothesizes and launches website A/B and multivariate tests to see which site experiences perform best and drive growth.
    • Actively manages paid media execution in Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, and more.
    • Owns and operates multiple business line P&Ls with daily and weekly performance reporting.
    • Work together with Frontend Development, Design, Backend Engineering, SEO, and Content to launch tests and web experiences that are best-in-class.

    The types of projects you will work on

    • Working on the UXRP team, you will be responsible for learning and analyzing our website analytics.
    • You will immerse yourself in customer journey data using Google Analytics, Customer Data Platforms, SQL databases, and our website testing platform.
    • You will analyze, hypothesize, and launch A/B website tests across one of our website properties.
    • You will work closely with our Paid Media team to launch UX experiments for the volume that you actively manage.

    By the end of the summer you will

    • Understand the intricacies of digital platforms, customer analytics, and how to execute optimizations and operate a digital business.
    • Be well-versed with leading platforms such as Google, Bing, Facebook and Instagram Ads.
    • You will become an expert with Microsoft Excel, WordPress CMS, and SQL databases.
    • Share test results on projects you manage with Senior leaders and receive feedback on the strategy and performance.
