Position Summary:

At Monster, everything we do is extreme.  We push the limits, as do our athletes and consumers, and we’re looking for a Media Planning Marketing Analytics Intern who will do the same – innovate, break barriers, and help Monster Energy reach new heights.    

The Paid Media Planning Intern, International will focus on helping to build analytics dashboard for the International business unit for Monster Energy Company brands across Latin America, Canada, Asia and Oceania.  The role will report into the  Paid Social Media Manager, International.

Essential Job Functions:

• As an intern, you will be engaged in live projects and will work closely with the Media Buying, Digital Marketing, and Analytics teams.
• Understand on-platform behaviors and provide evidence through metrics.
• Support the team in monitoring, optimizing, and launching new campaigns across international markets.
• Review campaign pacing and identify KPI trends.
• Work with Digital Managers in each region to understand media campaigns and account for ad flags.
• Help prepare campaign insights for each region and learn how to unearth the story behind the metrics and KPIs.
• Learn to communicate technical concepts in a manner that is easy for marketers and non-technical partners to understand and vice versa.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Participate in special projects as required, with responsibilities including data gathering, A/B testing, media planning for the following quarters.

Position Requirements:

• Completing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Economics, Statistics, Advertising, Marketing or other disciplines with demonstrated technical exposure
• Comfortable using Ms Excel, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager or other social media dashboard.
• Must be proactive and focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated, results-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about working with large volumes of marketing data and being able to piece stories together.
• Beginner level experience in working with media buying platform and implementing strategies.
• Beginner level skills and comfort with using tools such as Excel, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager, and Tik Tok Ads Manager.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of marketing and advertising
• Additional languages are a plus.
• Fast learner with a curious disposition; proactive; always looking to learn and to teach others

Pay Rate: $16/hr
