    The Position: The Paid Media Manager is responsible for the strategy and day-to-day management of multiple digital marketing campaigns, executing paid search, display, and social advertising strategies. This individual is responsible for taking high level campaign strategy and concepts and translating this information into integrated digital advertising campaigns which are focused on company goals and are tracked to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to measures of success. The Paid Media Manager then tracks, monitors, measures, and analyzes the results of each campaign and compiles reports.

    Location: Hybrid. White River Junction VT; hybrid onsite requiring 3 days onsite each quarter. Ideal candidates will be located within a 2–3-hour drive of our White River Junction, VT offices.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Oversee day-to-day digital marketing media buying in Google Ads (Display, Search and Retargeting), Microsoft, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Reddit, Native, CTV, YouTube and other online ad platforms.
    • Manage all aspects of campaign configuration, launch, and ongoing optimization – including strategy, ad copywriting, data-based optimization, budget/billing management, and ad trafficking.
    • Develop and present media plans with specific recommendations for media buys, budgets, campaign dates and KPI’s.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and lead efforts to track, monitor, measure and analyze campaign results, translating those findings into actionable steps and plans for optimizing campaigns.
    • Integrate with Web, Digital, Social, Creative and DTC teams to ensure online ads, landing pages, and other digital assets are prepared and ready for campaign launch.
    • Have a testing and optimization mindset to develop and execute A/B testing opportunities to improve campaign performance.
    • Create and present weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reports with analysis of campaign performance along with strategic recommendations for continual improvement.
    • Manage and develop 1 direct report.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
    • 3-6 years of experience in hands-on media planning and execution (preferably with an agency).
    • 1 years of experience managing at least 1 direct report
    • Strong knowledge and experience with Google Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, Business Manager, Commerce Manager, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, and other online buying platforms.
    • Experience and confidence in presenting media plans and reporting to peers and leaders.
    • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in paid digital advertising

    • Digital Advertising Expertise: Proficiency in creating and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google Ads, Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and Instagram, to maximize reach and engagement.

    • Target Audience Segmentation: Expertise in identifying and defining target audiences, segmenting them based on demographics, behavior, and other relevant factors, and tailoring campaigns accordingly.
    • Budget Management: Proven ability to manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve campaign objectives and maximize return on investment.
    • Ad Copywriting and Creative Development: Skill in crafting compelling ad copy and collaborating with creative teams to develop visually appealing and impactful ad creatives that resonate with the target audience.
    • A/B Testing Proficiency: Experience in conducting A/B tests on various ad elements, such as headlines, images, and targeting parameters, to optimize campaign performance and refine strategies.
    • Platform Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the features and algorithms of major advertising platforms, staying updated on changes and trends to leverage new opportunities for campaign success.
    • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Knowledge of CRO principles to enhance the likelihood of converting ad clicks into desired actions, such as sign-ups, purchases, or other key performance indicators.
    • Competitive Analysis: Ability to conduct thorough competitor analysis, staying informed about industry trends and benchmarking campaigns against competitors to identify areas for improvement.
    • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, digital, brand, editorial, and analytics, to ensure alignment and success in executing paid media strategies.
