Elko Baseball Association Concessions Manager

Job Description

Position Summary:

The Concession Manager is a part-time, seasonal employee of the Elko Baseball Association, responsible for all operations and staffing of the Fredrickson Field concession stand.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate concession stand menu, pricing and hours of operation with Elko Baseball
• Maintain and ensure a clean/sanitary concession stand throughout the baseball season consistent with State Board of Health standards
• Recruit, train and schedule concessions staff.
• Purchase concessions food/drink prior to game days
• Deposit daily/weekly bank deposits and provide receipts to EBA at end of season
• Prepare concession stand at the beginning of the season and end of season
• Regularly communicate concerns and customer feedback
• Approximate time commitment is 15-20 hours per week over the course of the season (May-August depending on playoffs)

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Experience with managing and training part-time, seasonal staff preferred
• Ability to manage a budget, track sales and efficiently manage inventory
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Reliable

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
