Business Development Manager, Sponsorship Sales

OVERVIEW:

The Business Development team plays a critical role in growing the business.  We want driven performers with a strong prospecting mind-set and a can-do will-do attitude. In your role, you will be responsible for opening and managing accounts across the CDM Media portfolio.

SKILLS:

To be considered for this role, please have the following:

Experience: 5 years sales experience or 2 years in sponsorship sales with a track record of success.  

Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong phone-based presentations skills and enjoy working in a team.

Characteristics: We are looking for self-motivated people with a determination to succeed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Source and develop leads to prospect.

Drive sales growth by finding and engaging prospects.

Connect with and develop relationships with key contacts within the technology vendor space.

Understand and communicate CDM’s value in the markets we work.

Achieve new and repeat business revenue targets.

Prepare sales proposals for sponsorship investments.

Develop a deep understanding of our products and broader industry trends.

Headquartered in Chicago with offices in Scottsdale and London, this role can sit in any location. CDM Media currently offers remote work to protect our current and future employees. This role might not be remote long-term once the CDC has cleared it safe to return to an office setting.
