Media Production Director jobs in Albany, GA

Media Production Director oversees and plans the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web shows, broadcasts, or videos. Completes pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling. Being a Media Production Director defines and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Assembles the required team of production specialists for each production's camera, sound, lighting, and other functions. Additionally, Media Production Director directs post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Production Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Media Production Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Major Duties & Responsibilities

    • Assist lead photographer with packing, lifting, and carrying lighting/equipment prior to, during, and before sessions and events
    • Assist with scheduling and handling client contracts
    • Collaborate with clients and team to define project goals, locations and equipment needs
    • Photograph special events, weddings and in-studio portraits
    • Editing digital images & video lightly or with advanced techniques to create desired effects
    • Uploading digital images & video for editing, archiving, and electronic transmission
    • Set up and breakdown of backdrops, props and necessary equipment for sessions
    • Show gallery & check out clients
    • Recording BTS footage during sessions
    • Managing client database
    • Handling emails to clients
    • Planning social media calendar
    • Minor Duties
    • Keeping the studio organized
    • Providing excellent guest experience for in-studio and on site sessions
    • Managing social media posts
    • Purchasing materials and props for photo shoots to enhance products and appearance of subjects
    • Other Qualifications
    • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
    • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
    • Highly skilled at using a computer-based platform using multiple applications, to include multitasking, chatting or messaging, and maintaining effective communication with the customer.
    • Create Content Calendar/Schedule Facebook/Instagram Posts
    • Skilled at consistently providing excellent customer service, following through on responsibilities to customers and recovering from any errors made.
    • Demonstrated ability to complete projects and assignments accurately, catching errors before completion, despite a large workload, competing demands and a fast paced environment.
    • Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with customers. Possesses effective listening, speaking and writing skills. Skilled at adjusting communication style to meet audience needs and expectations.
    • Comfortable engaging with customers who may exhibit frustration, and comfortable taking responsibility for errors on behalf of the Company.
    • Capable of and interested in continuous learning primarily focused on the business and customer service.
    • Comfortable with making decisions independently.
    • Education Qualifications
    • High School Diploma and/or GED.
    • Physical Requirements
    • Lifting/carrying lighting rig (50 Pounds) during outdoor sessions

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week

    Schedule:

    • 4 hour shift
    • 8 hour shift
    • Day shift
    • Weekends as needed

    Education:

    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

    Work Location: Multiple locations
