Media Production Director oversees and plans the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web shows, broadcasts, or videos. Completes pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling. Being a Media Production Director defines and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Assembles the required team of production specialists for each production's camera, sound, lighting, and other functions. Additionally, Media Production Director directs post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Production Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Media Production Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Associate Director of Production Management (ADPM) shall serve as the link and liaison between the Director SCRI, Director of Data Management (DDM), Associate Director of Data Management, multiple polling partners, and all call center employees including interviewers and supervisors. The ADPM shall prepare, conduct and monitor training of call Supervisors in-person and remote at multiple locations, as well as polling partners including supervisors and callers at all locations. The ADPM shall assist the DDM in programming of reports and, as needed, surveys. The ADPM, as production manager, will monitor all call centers' and employee productivity to ensure the fiscal soundness of all projects. The ADPM shall be the primary liaison between SCRI and Siena College HR and will be the primary contact between SCRI and any outside employment agency used by SCRI. The ADPM shall act as a project manager for projects as needed. This position replaces the Coordinating Supervisor.
Annual salary range: $58,380.00 to $61,299.00
An Associate's degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred
5-10 years of experience preferred
