Media Production Director oversees and plans the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web shows, broadcasts, or videos. Completes pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling. Being a Media Production Director defines and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Assembles the required team of production specialists for each production's camera, sound, lighting, and other functions. Additionally, Media Production Director directs post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Worship Media Technology Director
Purpose
The purpose of the Director of Worship Media Technology is to oversee technology and staffing
for worship services including sound, lighting, slide show, and livestreaming.

Education/Experience:
Strong technical expertise in website, social media, sound, and livestreaming strongly
preferred
Possess passion to communicate through a variety of mediums
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft, Canva and/or PowerPoint
Possess strong organizational and leadership skills to recruit/oversee team of volunteers
successfully develop their skills and abilities & manage multiple tasks
Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in a team environment
Experience in related field preferred
Organizational Relationships:
Coordinate with the Pastor and Director of Worship Celebrations for technology needs and use
of media during worship.
Responsibilities:
Up to 5 hours per week
Tech team training, recruitment, and scheduling
Tech team supervision for worship and events (with a preference for only 2 paid media
technicians at a time
Run Live Stream cameras and power points/slides for worship, church events, etc. (or
schedule tech worker)
Provide tech needs for church events, funerals, and weddings (or schedule a tech
worker)
Set up for worship services and event sound and lighting needs
Maintain sound, lighting, and livestream systems (must have prior
experience/knowledge base in this area)
Maintain livestream archive and pages
Oversee production of audio elements including downloading music clips, slides, etc. to
assist pastor in relaying information/message
Troubleshoot any issues involving tech on Sundays and for other worship services
Fill in for any of the tech positions if needed
Perform other job duties, as required
