KEN Media, established in 2022, is searching for a Media Director with integrated expertise in digital and traditional channels to serve as the lead voice on key campaigns and initiatives. We're looking for someone with phenomenal client service skills, entrepreneurial spirit, confident presentation abilities, and a keen strategic mind able to direct winning media plans and buys.

    About Us:

KEN Media (a Bakery Agency sister Co.) is an independent media agency headquartered at the Americana Building overlooking downtown Austin, TX. KEN Media's sole purpose is to solve the most significant pain points in Media & Creative: one of fragmented services and the large gap between high-level Creative and Media. As a sister company to the 2022 Small Agency of the Year, Bakery Agency, we deeply understand the importance of distributing creative messaging, driving culture through media, and reaching real people at the right time and place. KEN ensures that our data tools are used to inform our planning and goals, not to direct the same path everyone else is taking. Our portfolio includes Media Strategy & Buying for Shiner Beers, Promised Land Dairy, LALA, and NatureSweet, where we inform great storytelling through innovative media channels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with leadership to help set the strategic direction for our client business
    • Represent the media strategy & vision for our clients, providing comprehensive brand-level and model-specific media go-to-market plans to help drive tangible and measurable results in line with predetermined KPIs
    • Provide ambitious and forward-thinking media thought leadership to both internal and external teams
    • Collaborate with experts and regional vendors across investment, operations, partnerships and local planning
    • Effectively communicate and educate media strategy & plans to Bakery Agency counterparts
    • Be a marketing partner for our partners and clients and foster strong working relationships
    • 8 years of integrated media planning with an understanding of all media channels and buying approaches surrounding Digital Video, Direct Digital, Digital Audio, Programmatic, Social, TV, Radio, Magazine, Out of Home, Search, Events, and Sponsorships.
    • Strategic thinker and visionary leader with the ability to lead and motivate a team while also building relationships with clients and across agency disciplines
    • Expert communicator with incredible confidence presenting to clients and stakeholders, as well as negotiating plans with national and regional vendors
    • Strong data-minded individual who can extract meaningful insights from data to back-up strategic recommendations
