Media Production Director oversees and plans the pre-production, production, and post-production stages of television or web shows, broadcasts, or videos. Completes pre-production processes, including ideation, concept creation, casting, script writing, budgeting, specifications, and scheduling. Being a Media Production Director defines and organizes the technical and logistical resources required for each production. Assembles the required team of production specialists for each production's camera, sound, lighting, and other functions. Additionally, Media Production Director directs post-production editing operations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Production Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Media Production Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The Press Operator leads his or her team (the Assistant and the Catcher) to set up, register, run, and accurately screen print garments on
an automatic textile printing press. They will be responsible for gathering and understanding all aspects of a print job before setting up and printing it while striving for quality and efficiency.

Press Operators are one of the only positions at JNJ that require previous experience (either learning from others here at JNJ or from another printing facility). As such, the next opportunity is for Assistant Production Manager. Press Operators who have demonstrated excellent technical proficiency and understanding of the printing process will have a chance to demonstrate their Leadership skills as a Team Lead before being assessed for the opportunity of Assistant Production Manager.
