Job Summary:

The Creative Production Manager for Social Media is a pivotal role combining creative flair and managerial acumen to produce compelling video content designed for social media platforms. This role requires understanding social media trends, platform-specific content preferences, and audience engagement strategies.

Creative Responsibilities:

• Developing and overseeing the creative vision for social media projects.
• Ensure that all video content is optimized for social media, taking into account each platform's unique characteristics and requirements (e.g., formats, length, and viewer engagement).
• Conceptualizing social media-focused video content.
• Generate ideas tailored to social media dynamics, aiming to maximize reach, engagement, and shareability.
• Coordinating with the videographer for social media shoots.
• Direct videographers with a focus on creating visually appealing and platform-appropriate content that captures attention quickly.
• Managing video editors with a focus on social media content.
• Guide editors to craft engaging videos that are suitable for short attention spans, incorporating features like subtitles, engaging thumbnails, and hooks.
• Working across departments to ensure a cohesive social media brand voice and aesthetic.
• Collaborate with social media strategists to align video content with ongoing campaigns and overall brand messaging.

Management Responsibilities:

• Planning and managing the production schedule for social media content.
• Organize content calendars and production timelines designed explicitly for continuous social media content delivery.
• Handling client communications with a focus on social media projects.
• Communicate with clients about the specifics of social media marketing, ensuring their brand message is effectively conveyed through video content.
• Ensuring timely delivery of social media projects.
• Oversee the quick turnaround of video projects to meet the fast-paced demand of social media timelines.
• Meet with clients to review content and upcoming projects.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
