Position Summary:
The Katz School of Science and Health is seeking a media production manager to support both academic and non-academic media. The media production manager will report to the Director of Online and Campus Learning Strategies with a dotted line to the Director of Internal Communications.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of video production for the Katz School, including academic programs, social media platforms, website, and academic and non-academic events
- Provide photography for the Katz School, including academic and non-academic events, website, and social media; coordinate with university photographers as appropriate
- Lead A/V support for the Katz School
- Maintain studio and production sets, as well as video, audio, and lighting equipment (update as needed)
- Manage Katz school video hosting platforms (YouTube, Panopto, DropBox, etc.) and collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure content is stored and tagged appropriately
- Train faculty to work independently on video and media creation and editing
- Run workshops to help students learn to create and edit video and media content for academic projects
- Other duties as assigned
Experience & Education Background:
- Undergraduate degree or 4 years of relevant experience in digital media, video production, educational technology, or related fields
- Experience recording HD video on professional camcorders
- Editing with Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe Audition
- Experience with 3-point lighting with black and white backgrounds
- Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform repairs to audio and video equipment
- Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio audio, lighting and associated production equipment
- Knowledge of professional audio and video post-production procedures, techniques, and standards
Skills & Competencies:

- Articulate 360 (Rise, Storyline, etc.)
- Familiarity with teleprompter apps (Teleprompter Pro)
- 5-point lighting of subjects
Salary Range
$65,000-$75,000
