Media Program Director directs and coordinates activities of broadcast and programming personnel. Responsible for scheduling programs and event coverage, coordinating with other departments, working with directors and production staff, and assessing length and content of broadcasts. Being a Media Program Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Program Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     The Performance Media Director is a team leader for the media department, overseeing all media disciplines inclusive of paid search, programmatic, display & video, paid social, social media, and other media channels. They will manage discipline supervisors as direct reports. This role will be expected to be a strategic lead across all core media client accounts. Primarily responsible for focusing on optimizing performance of client digital media programs and the development of best practices, processes, and strategies to steer and monitor overall media department success. Acts as a digital media SME for internal stakeholders/client partners as well as key point of contact for cross-functional departments. Client programs include data driven omnichannel digital media campaigns to successfully engage and influence consumers at each funnel stage. Focused on the growth and development of direct reports. Will have a hand in helping pitch new business and account growth for media specific opportunities.
