We are seeking an Associate Media Director, Paid Search who will play an important role in our future growth plans.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate for our Associate Media Director, Paid Search position is passionate about digital media, specifically search engine marketing. This candidate is a self-starter, proven leader, and always looking to grow professionally and proactively share knowledge with team members. The person fulfilling this position has proven experience managing complex digital campaigns from inception, implementation, and ongoing management to exceed client set goals/KPIs. Ability to work under pressure while having multiple responsibilities and tight deadlines is essential. Staying up-to-date and passionate about the latest Paid Search/digital technologies, techniques, trends and best practices is fundamental. Attention to detail is mission critical.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in leading our Paid Search practices with focus around innovation and best practices. This includes helping to further evolve our processes, automation, training, and education for both internal and external stakeholders
• Develop, manage, and optimize integrated Search Engine Marketing (Paid) Search, YouTube / Shopping / GDN strategies based on industry best practices with consideration of impact to other media channels in market
• Participate in and help lead internal and client presentations on topics including, but not limited to, performance reporting, market research, competitive analysis, insights, opportunities, and emerging trends
• Collaborate across activation and strategy channels within agency to help continue evolving our processes and client offerings
• Continue to foster a "one-team" mindset, and proactively help and mentor team members

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of ongoing hands-on experience working in the paid search ecosystem. Deep understanding of best practices and strategies of E-commerce (including retail) and Paid YouTube.
• 3 years in recent agency experience preferred
• Solid foundation and passion for digital media and advertising landscape
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex client campaigns and relationships against performance metrics
• Strong analytical and technical aptitude including Microsoft Excel and math proficiency. Hands-on experience with analytical tools (ex: GA4, GTM, Adobe) and measurement (pixels) strongly desired.
• Experience and expertise utilizing bid-management platforms (Search Ads 360, Skai, Marin) to support and manage campaigns.
• Expertise working within Google/Bing editor platforms
• Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
• Experience in managing a team
• Strong working experience across Google / Microsoft / Amazon tactics and certified within all platforms
• Ability to think proactively, maintain a high level of productivity, and manage multiple priorities
• Desire to work within a collaborative team setting while also being able to work independently

Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
