About the Job
The Social Media Director knows how to use social media as a tool to grow a business. This person must be creative, hardworking, passionate and detail oriented. It helps if you are flexible and willing to work in different environments. A little bit of life experience is a plus.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in journalism, business, marketing, advertising, communications or related field would be nice.
4 years’ experience moves you toward the top of the list Outstanding customer service skills.
Assisting in developing the company’s social media strategy.
Owning all branded social media channels (Esp FB and IG).
Proficient in video editing (iMovie for Adobe Premier).
Using photographic and video equipment (we use a DJI pocket). You don’t have to be Ansel Adams but be better than a grammar school kid.
Familiar with podcasting equipment (ours is a Roadcaster Pro2).
Working well with others. We are all pretty chill here, you should be too.

Physical Demands
Typical office stuff. Sitting. standing, walking. Using standard office equipment, looking at computer or mobile device screens. Nothing out of the ordinary.
