WKBT-TV, Western Wisconsin’s number one news source, is looking for a dynamic Sports Director to lead our award-winning sports department. This position requires an energetic personality to complement a vibrant anchor team, a drive to break local sports headlines, and lead the newscast with breaking sports news (good or bad) with the ambition to generate local sports stories without relying on national feeds. The right candidate will take charge of our seasonal, weekly live sports show, ‘Friday Night Frenzy’ and work with news and sales managers to grow the program in reach and revenue while anchoring nightly sportscasts and contributing enterprise content for sweeps coverage.
