Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) registration in at least one state; current PE/PG registration in multiple states preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and/or programs for federal clients.
- Documented experience achieving site closures and other performance endpoints.
- Practical knowledge of environmental remediation methods and techniques.
- Strong comprehension of Conceptual Site Models, including soils/geology, geohydrology, groundwater dynamics, and contaminant fate and transport.
- Experience with in-situ remediation technologies and practices for soil and groundwater, including physical, chemical and biological methods, is required.
- Experience with investigation, mitigation, and/or treatment/removal of PFAS contamination is strongly preferred.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written are required.
- Must demonstrate good leadership capabilities, be versatile, and work well independently and with teams of environmental professionals.
- Some travel required (approximately 25%)
- Specific experience working on CERCLA and RCRA projects with the USEPA, Air Force, Army, Navy and AFCEE is extremely helpful.
- Computer literacy is a must and proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) software a plus.
Education & Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental restoration field.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering or geology related field
- Graduate level degree preferred, but not required

If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
