Media Program Director directs and coordinates activities of broadcast and programming personnel. Responsible for scheduling programs and event coverage, coordinating with other departments, working with directors and production staff, and assessing length and content of broadcasts. Being a Media Program Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Media Program Director manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.   • Under the immediate supervision of the KCF Director of Clinical Services, provides clinical and programmatic oversight of all School Based Mental Health Services (SBMH). This includes the development, implementation, and management of program and staff including direct supervision of SBMH Program Supervisory staff, both vocational and clinical supervision of counselors and case managers, and completion of diagnostic intake assessments. This position will also include the responsibility of managing the budget for SBMH, seeking additional funding for sustainability and expansion as well as to serve as a liaison with community partners and school districts.



    EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED: :

    • Provide clinical oversight of program and staff including both vocational and clinical supervision of counselors and case managers providing SBMH services
    • Management of SBMH program including the budget, staff training, billing, staff documentation, program audits, personnel, performance evaluations and direct supervision of SBMH Program Supervisory staff
    • Manage budget and is active in seeking additional funding for sustainability and expansion of SBMH programming
    • Responsible for all grant related requirements relevant for SBMH program
    • Provide education, presentations and trainings to schools and other community partners
    • Interviews clients, relatives, and other relevant individuals to assess and diagnose children and adolescents seeking services with Klaras Center for Families.
    • Acts as liaison between Klaras Center for Families, school administration, staff and personnel and other relevant community partners
    • Increases knowledge of supervision/leadership, psychotherapeutic, social work concepts by attendance at work related outside conferences and seminars whenever possible.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Essential Functions

    • Excellent written communication and computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Excellent verbal communication plus supervisory skills
    • Time management required to meet service goals
    • Approximately 20% local travel
    • Stooping, bending, sitting, standing, and keyboarding for prolonged periods, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
    • Ability to be CPR and PBAB certified
    • Valid driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required


    Education and Experience

    • Master’s degree/Licensed in social work, psychology or related field with ability to maintain Qualified Mental Health Professional credentialing
    • LPC/LCSW for Supervision Preferred:

    • Experience with counseling/psychotherapy with children, adolescents and families Required:

    Hours: M-F 8AM-5PM:

    Salary: $64,000-$74,000 annually
