Works to expand understanding of the organization's business, performance, and strategy. Being a Media Relations Manager prepares summaries of media activity for senior management. May serve as the company's spokesperson. Additionally, Media Relations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Marketing and Media Specialist
Responsibilities Include: The Marketing and Media Specialist will assist in documenting YMCA events through photography, videography and writing. The individual will create and assist with digital media posts, webpage management other small projects. A flexible schedule is available to allow for participating in special events hosted and participated by the YMCA of Sumter.
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or GED, 2-4 years digital marketing, photography and videography experience preferred
Must self-driven with attention to details
Must be mature, decisive, analytical and responsible
Must have satisfactory outcome of background check prior to starting employment
Part-time hourly, 15-20 hours – weekly, will include some nights and weekends
