Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Duties:
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and collecting specimens
- Assist healthcare professionals with physical examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures, including X-rays
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling insurance documentation
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Educate patients on proper medication administration and provide instructions for at-home care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing emotional support

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic pharmacology
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care and satisfaction
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
