Medical Records Management:

• Maintain and update patient records, including demographic information, medical history, and treatment plans.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records, following established protocols and regulations.
• Handle requests for medical records release in compliance with privacy laws.
• Billing and Insurance:
• Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and paperwork.
• Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims.
• Coordinate with billing department to resolve billing issues and collect payments
• Office Management:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office environment.
• Order and stock office and medical supplies.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
• Qualifications and Requirements:
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent education.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical office software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
