Harmony Surgery Center, Fort Collins, CO

Summary:

Maintain medical records and ensure their accuracy, safety, and confidentiality. Provide coverage and support to staff, physicians and patients regarding their medical records. Provide backup receptionist duties.

Work Schedule: Part Time, 0.5 FTE, 40 hrs/pay period, Days

Responsibilities:

• Perform collection, processing, filing, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical records according to facility policies and procedures.
• Arrange all chart forms and correspondence reports in appropriate order per facility policy/procedure.
  
• Mark and obtain all necessary signatures to complete chart, including contacting physicians' offices regarding necessary signatures/reports.
  
• Print paperwork for upcoming patients (face sheets, pref cards and labels).
  
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• Minimum Required Education: High school graduate / GED or equivalent learning experience.
  
• Preferred: Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  
  

The pay range for this position is: $18.75 - $27.86 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
