Medical Billing Clerk jobs in Provo, UT
Medical Billing Clerk is responsible for reviewing, researching, coding, and generating third party billing for a medical facility. Completes and verifies ICD-10 coding. Being a Medical Billing Clerk inputs and maintains all payment records in database or systems. Performs basic customer service for routine patient or other inquiries. Additionally, Medical Billing Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Medical Billing Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Position Summary: To process the company invoices for installation and service customers. Ensure that there are timely and accurate billing processes in the office. To assist in collections and resolve customer billing questions or inquiries.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in billing (AP/AR)
- Minimum of 4 years experience with QuickBooks
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized and can manage time/tasks proficiently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (written/verbal)
- Intermediate or above computer proficiency (familiarity with MS Office products)
