Medical billing for this pediatric practice including posting of charges, submitting claims and following up on all accounts.

Essential Job Functions

• Daily posting of charges
• Submit charges to insurance carriers
• Post payments from insurance carriers
• Track denials
• Track Receivables
• Track personal balances
• Confirm PCP
• Confirm Insurance
• Confirm Eligibility
• Provide financial counseling/set payment plans
• Collect co-payments and balances
• Answer billing questions
• Print and review refund list
• Complete claim forms for no-fault etc.
• Monitor collections

Requirements

• 1 year experience in medical billing is preferred
• 1 year experience in MEDENT is preferred
• High school diploma
• Must be up-to-date with COVID vaccine including Bivalent Booster

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
