Being a Medical Billing Clerk inputs and maintains all payment records in database or systems. Performs basic customer service for routine patient or other inquiries. Additionally, Medical Billing Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time billing clerk to join our newspaper's team. Job duties include keeping track of customer payments and accounts, preparing bills and billing customers, and responding to customer questions and concerns about bills. If time allows, some additional duties may be assigned, such as assisting with typesetting, etc.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, highly organized individual with strong customer service skills. Training will be provided on our accounting system.
