Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for our insurance office. This position requires basic accounting skills, as well as good people skills.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically

- Research and resolve billing discrepancies or issues

- Process payments from customers

- Assist with customer contact regarding billing statements or insurance coverage

Experience:

- Previous experience in an office setting

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Problem-solving skills

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.25 per hour
