Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. As a Medical Biller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. Your expertise in medical coding, billing procedures, and medical terminology will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services rendered
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations such as ICD-10 and ICD-9
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by paper
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries or disputes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the medical office staff to ensure accurate and complete documentation for billing purposes
- Assist with medical collections as needed

Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, ICD-9), and billing procedures
- Strong knowledge of medical office operations and insurance claim processing
- Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding is a plus
