Job Description

Our client is a busy Medical office located in Tarpon Springs. They are seeking a a Medical Billing Specialist to join their team to answer inbound calls to patient questions about their medical bills.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in working in a team environment and has a strong customer service focus to effectively interact with patients, doctors, staff and management.

Qualifications & Job Duties:

* Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards patients at all times- over the phones and/ or in-person.

* Strong communication; written and verbal and customer support skills.

* Work with patients to answer questions and resolve any potential billing issues.

* Knowledgeable in medical terminology and billing is preferred

* Understands Medical insurance, deductibles, copay, and coinsurance

* Must have computer skills

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00/ Hour

Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM Monday - Friday
