Role and Responsibilities
The Payment Poster is responsible for processing all payments and adjustments received to the business office timely and accurately. Correct the auto payment posting errors, balance posted payments before leaving each day. Submit required paperwork daily, work the credit reports and unapplied balance reports. Ensure confidentiality of all patient accounts by following HIPAA guidelines. Adheres to compliance of CMS and other payor guidelines. Communicate daily with management on payor trends.
The position will also perform any other tasks as assigned by the Billing Manager and Director of Operations.
