Required Skills and Competencies:
· High school diploma, or equivalent
· 3 years’ experience in medical insurance/billing procedures
· Demonstrated knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid/Third Party Liability
· Familiarity with CPT, ICD coding and credentialing
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multi-tasking situations
· Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems
· Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
· Ability to use discretion and judgment in dealing with sensitive and confidential information
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and database management tools
