Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time (40 hours per week) in our Business Office / Insurance Department for a Billing Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure insurance filing and billing policies/procedures are kept current.
• Facilitate the processing of insurance appeals of problem claims. 
• Prepare daily and monthly bills for processing of mailing. 
• Provide financial consultations with patients regarding their medical bills and the status of their claims.
• Monday – Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.

Requirements:                                                                                                    

• High school diploma.
• Training in reimbursement/insurance.
• ICD 10 knowledge.
